Cancer is most deadly disease and leading cause of deaths around the world. Radiation therapy and chemotherapy are only the treatment for the cancer but unsatisfactory due to serious side effects on healthy and normal cell and the difficulty of drug resistance (Shi et al. 2006; Azandeh et al. 2017).

Natural products have the capability to cure the cancer without causing any side effects. These natural plant-based principles may inhibit the metastasis and proliferation of cancerous cells and ultimately cause the apoptosis of cancerous cell. Taxane, vinca alkaloids, camptothecin, curcumin, etc. are some highly active anticancer natural compounds (Nobili et al. 2009). The green synthesized NPs having these natural compounds showed enhanced anticancer activity.
